My dog had SEVERE separation anxiety to the point when I couldn’t even walk out the door, and it was giving ME anxiety because I couldn’t go anywhere or do anything without finding someone to sit with the dog. I tried everything (trying a protocol of walking out the door, calming plug-ins and calming treats, toys, calming dog music, long lasting treats) by the time I contacted Pam. She came in and worked with Ziggy and I and started where we were at, working on in the house separation first and working our way up. She gave me the knowledge and tools I needed to discuss options with my vet, worked with my routine and schedule and gave me all the options to try so Ziggy and I could be successful. I’m happy to report Ziggy can now stay alone for HOURS at a time. Thank you Pam!“

“This Veterinary center was very accommodating, clean, professional, well mannered and empathetic. We recently visited the vet and had to hear some tough news. They aren’t just about making a bunch of money or a profit taking advantage of their customer base. They were very understanding and extremely accommodating. The staff was professional and personable. The doctor was experienced and very knowledgeable. They even followed up after with a written summary of our appt and prepared thoroughly reviewing our dogs history before we met. I am extremely satisfied with the thoroughness and the time the doctor spent with us and didn’t feel rushed at all. We just recently moved to MA from CA and will definitely plan for all our pet care here to be at Highland Animal Hospital and provide a shining recommendation.“

“Incredible experience with our high energy German Shepherd puppy. They’re understanding and supportive of not fixing big dogs early and allowing them to still come to daycare in a safe way. When our dog got sick in the car on the way to daycare, they not only bathed him free of charge but also came out with cleaner and rags to clean the trunk of my car for me. Riot loves his friends at Hilltop and we are always thrilled to send him!“

“I took my dog Hooch to Petco for grooming and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional from the moment we walked in. Hooch can be a bit nervous with new people, but they handled him with so much care and patience.

When I picked him up, he looked amazing—clean, well-trimmed, and smelling great! They did a fantastic job with his coat and nails, and he seemed relaxed and happy afterward. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals they work with.

“My friend is an animal rescuer and she catches cats off the streets. So she found a cat yesterday. She brought it here and they took it and now they will take care of the cat. My friend does this quite a lot. This place a certs donations for all kinds of animals . I saw then The people here seemed very nice.. if u find an animal or especially a cat bring them here. It's a nice location and very very nice setting. . Sorry no pictures , we came at night“

We had to leave our cat for a couple of days and no matter where I called for catsitting, I was rejected because they either didn't have space or didn't like that I said that my cat can get nippy when he's hungry. I reached out to Leashrly Life, thinking they may not do much catsitting but they were so quick to get back to me about my request! I've had Will catsit for me multiple times even after I added another cat to the family. He does an excellent job following the many directions I leave and sending updates with pics! I also love the website and how easy it is to request a catsitter! You won't have a worry leaving your pets with these guys!“

“I love Metro Pets. They are always on time. And they return my precious standard poodle on time and beautifully groomed with a call 15 minutes in advance. Madison is a highly skilled groomer and she and Willow are a lovely match. I highly recommend Metropets. Not all groomers can handle a standard poodle cut that looks like a poodle but not too frooffy. Willow and I love Madison and Metropets.“

She spent time with me before we left going over feeding routines and was very knowledgeable about giving my cat (who happens to have some drama queen/diva/b**ch moments) her glucosamine medicine. “I visited this location for the first time last week, and was pleasantly surprised. There was NO animal or pet food odor at all, unlike many similar stores. It all seemed nice and clean. I was there for the fish section, and the tanks were pretty clean and fish looked healthy. Their live aquarium plant selection was rather small BUT they were almost all in good condition, which is rather rare for chain store plants. Their live Betta fish were all in clean water, and also looked healthy. You can tell a lot about a location by how their Bettas look. As an ex-parakeet parent, I also looked in on theirs, and they, too, looked perky and healthy. I will definitely go again in the future, as long as the standards are being kept up.“
