I wanted a sew in. I came by myself. A freshmen in college just excited about my hair after saving enough money. They saw how bubbly my personality was and took advantage of that and SCAMMED ME! Ultimately charged me $280 for a sew in. I brought the hair myself! $280 for a sew in. At the end they just kept adding to it “$250, $260, $280.” I was SCAMMED! Don’t go here 💔

WARNING!!! DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE N GET UR HAIR DONE... After me making an appointment Eva's number rang at a completely different hair salon then I had to wait almost 2 hours, then after getting my braids which was done by not even the person I spoke to wasn't even there to do my hair; the female doing my hair did the braids good but didn't know how to cut n style my braids n butchered my whole hairstyle n had the nerve to ask me for extra money... I shouldn't haves paid her anything at all .

I wouldn't go back here. The first impression is the lasting impression and if I wasn't paying attention, Eva was trying to overcharge my card while the other lady tried to block the machine. When I spoke on it Eva tried to say "oh my bad". Yes, oh you're bad service. I tried them but never again. Simple hairstyle was overpriced and didn't get what I asked for. The lady that was doing my hair kept farting without walking away and kept putting the hair in her mouth and got upset when i told her she messed up and did exactly what i said I did not want. It was just an all in all bad experience for me. It's a NO GO for me.

Bad hair dresser and over price service. Don't go here if your a male. They'll charge you up. Told me $40. I waited 2hr. When I got in chair they told me $60 with no wash.

I’ve never written a review but this was by far the worst salon experience I’ve ever had. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I showed up at 12pm for my appointment and the shop was closed. I called Eva and she said she was in an uber on her way. I waited an hour for her to arrive because I was desperate to get my hair done for work on Monday. The salon was dirty and in disarray. I came in for a relaxer and she did such an awful job. When it was time to wash off the relaxer, she said her shampoo station was broken so she made me go in the bathroom and used the very small, dirty bathroom sink to wash my hair. I had relaxer in my eyes and my mouth. She hastily washed my hair only once (At that point, I didn’t care that she didn’t know that relaxer has to be washed out multiple times. I was just ready to leave). She then tried to use a visibly dirty towel to dry my hair and my face. I was so upset, I had to tell her to stop so I could go home to wash and condition my hair myself. I still paid the full amount for the service. She was very rude to me on my way out and practically yelling at me, telling me that I had no right to be upset because she got water on her dress washing my hair in a small bathroom sink???? I drove home with water dripping all over me. Do not patronize this business. There are cleaner and way more professional African hair salons in the Boston area.
