Ive had back problems all of my life, in and out of the hospital ... traction, mylegrams, mri's, cat scans, bulging disks from cervical, to lumbar! Dr O'connor has kept me off the operating table.. at times id crawl in his office and walk out like a miracle happened in just on adjustment. I like manual adjustments that he does.the activators do nithing for my spine. He knows the nerves, and a healer. I would never go to anyone else . “I came to McGovern with some serious back discomfort. I was completely frozen up in the middle, and had tried special office chairs, massage, heating pads and long stretching routines most nights (even that didn't do enough). I know everyone's needs are different and this won't realistically be the case for EVERYONE, but I swear to you--my experience was that I walked into that building uncomfortable and hurting, and I left COMPLETELY CHANGED.Dr. Ashley was so skillfully intuitive with my body and pain. She read my forms, asked me all about past injuries and lifestyle and so on, then put her hands on my back and moved me around. I could just tell--she was listening straight through her hands for the source of the problem.I can't thank her enough for her expertise and spectacular bedside manner. She found exactly what was going on with my particular case, used "dry-needling" with the electro pulse thingy to help my muscles release (It's not so bad!!!), and then some classic chiropractic crackin'. I was nervous about the cracking parts, but she put me 100% at ease, explaining everything in depth and giving me notice before doing anything to me.I left with my jaw dragging on the ground in amazement. It didn't hurt anymore. PLUS she gave me exercises I could do to make sure I eliminated the issue, and wouldn't need to keep coming in for treatments. It's clear this practice cares deeply about wellbeing and getting to the root of things. No band-aids to slap on problems or a wham-bam-crack-you-maam and out the door. They gave me truly intuitive care and a treatment plan.I will only be back if I need a little tune-up in the future, but my GOODNESS what an actual godsend. If you need help and are in some pain or discomfort and everything you're doing so far isn't doing the trick, GO GIVE THEM A TRY! They're AMAZING! And the dog is super, super cute too ?“
