Boston for the Dogs Pet Boarding Training

“Boston for the Dogs and Hannalore have been great for me and my pup Kona! This is my first experience with a dog who needs (and enjoys) consistent tasks, learning and training. BFTD’s real world style classes have helped us so much! Hannalore keeps me honest for when I’m letting Kona get away with too much or conversely not giving her enough credit/trust in the skills we’ve learned.“

Pondside Pet Care Pet Boarding Training

“I've been sending my dog Momo to Tammy and the team at Pondside for over a year now - he gets great attention, treatment and always has a fun time with his friends. Tammy has also provided grooming services that has been super helpful for a tantrum prone corgi. Great value and I know Momo is being well taken care of every time he goes“

“I would highly recommend Bostons Best Dog Walkers for pet sitting. Especially Matisse - if you want your dog to be treated like family then definitely request Matisse, he is AMAZING, treated our dog so well and our dog absolutely loved him. I truly can’t say enough how thankful I was for how great he was to our baby.

We were in Boston for the evening and needed a last minute Pet sitter to sit with our dog. You can book a “hotel stay” with BBDW where they will come to your hotel for 3 hours and sit with your dog while you go out. Most hotels have a policy that you can’t leave your dog alone, so this was a saving grace as we knew our dog would cry and disturb other guests if we left him by himself.

I was originally really nervous about this as we have never hired a sitter or left our dog with someone who isn’t family. So I requested a meet and greet where we met our sitter Matisse in the afternoon very briefly beforehand and this made me feel so much better! This isn’t included or necessary but if you’re nervous like me it was worth it. You also get a journal and photo updates on their website portal of what they did together the whole time. We asked that they just stay in the room and not go out since we walked him beforehand and that worked out well.

Aaron was also very responsive and communicated well throughout the process. I texted him from the number on Google the night before, which was really last minute and he made it all happen. We had confirmation of booking that night and a sitter arranged the next day. Overall we had a really good experience with bostons best dog walkers for our trip to Boston and I would definitely use them again.“

Down 4 Paws Pet Boarding Training

“Pamela at Down 4 Paws was awesome. My dog had SEVERE separation anxiety to the point when I couldn’t even walk out the door, and it was giving ME anxiety because I couldn’t go anywhere or do anything without finding someone to sit with the dog. I tried everything (trying a protocol of walking out the door, calming plug-ins and calming treats, toys, calming dog music, long lasting treats) by the time I contacted Pam. She came in and worked with Ziggy and I and started where we were at, working on in the house separation first and working our way up. She gave me the knowledge and tools I needed to discuss options with my vet, worked with my routine and schedule and gave me all the options to try so Ziggy and I could be successful. I’m happy to report Ziggy can now stay alone for HOURS at a time. Thank you Pam!“

“This service is 5 star in every way. I have been using their cat sitting services for years - they are always reliable and leave me the cutest message about the visit with pictures. Most recently they put up posters when my cat went missing while I was away! That really went above and beyond, and I was so appreciative!“

Zen Dog Training Pet Boarding Training

“As a first time dog owner, I was anxious about where to start with training. When I heard about Zen Dog Training and saw they had a puppy class, I knew it was the right fit for my new puppy and me. Pete has been our instructor and he's been great! He's super patient with answering questions and gives helpful feedback when we show him what we've been practicing. I was definitely overwhelmed having a new puppy, but it was reassuring to know that each week if I worked on the homework with my puppy that we'd improve. My puppy benefited from being able to play with other puppies her age each week. I've also found having access to the Zen Dog Training Puppy Course resources online to be really helpful especially when I needed a reminder of what was covered in class (the videos, comics, and blog posts are easy to understand). I definitely would recommend Zen Dog Training! We have our last class this week and I'm going to miss it when it's over.“

Good Dog Boston Pet Boarding Training

“I would recommend Good Dog Boston to anyone! Our trainer Jeff was patient, kind, and extremely helpful when working with us and our dog Miley. Miley struggles with reactivity triggered by other dogs and living in downtown Boston makes avoiding other dogs nearly impossible. Jeff provided a tiered program which laid the ground work for Miley's basic obedience and built up to working through her reactivity issues. We have already seen huge improvement in Miley's behavior and all thanks goes to Good Dog Boston!

Also shoutout to Jeff's furry assistants: Danny, Halo, & Doctor for being the good-est boys and helping their friend Miley with her manners!

Truly a 5 star experience!“

“Our nervous and anxious dog has always had a hard time going to the vet, but we’ve finally found a place that is able to treat him without him experiencing a panic attack. What they are doing works wonders!

In terms of pricing, it is reasonable, I appreciate the treatment and prices so much so to drive out of my way +35 without traffic.

Highly recommend!“

“When my dog and I moved to Boston last summer, one of my top priorities was finding a place she could feel safe, happy, and at home while I was at work — and we found that at Harbor Hounds. She gets so excited every time I drop her off, and comes home tired, happy, and clearly well cared for. The staff is wonderful and It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. Thank you for all you do!“

“It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation for a week and not have to worry about our pets. Marybeth took care of our fur babies like they were her own. She spent time with me before we left going over feeding routines and was very knowledgeable about giving my cat (who happens to have some drama queen/diva/b**ch moments) her glucosamine medicine. She checked in with me every day with updates and a pic and she went above and beyond because we came home to a clean litter box - which was something she didn’t need to do.10/10 recommend Marybeth!“

Petco Vaccination Clinic Pet Boarding Training

“Petco Vaccination clinic, it was way better than when we went to a Vetco Clinic. A lot cheaper and the folks were really AWESOME at the Waltham store.
Vetco, different story. They messed my dog up and I'm still waiting on what you all are going to do. You say he has Lyme after a blood test, then, you give him meds and shots, i paid a lot of money. You schedule a follow up for 10 days later for what you said was his final Lyme shot but i went there for nothing because you were closed that day. You get that? You have me come back on a day your closed lol. So, i had to go back the next day, when i got there i was told i can't see the vet today. Well, before i left i seen the SO-CALLED VET LOL. Now i was told he doesn't have lyme and doesn't need the final shot. I'm really mad at this point. How do you not know what is going on? I still don't know if he has it or not because i can't afford to have him retested cause i have no money left. Ive called them and they won't talk with me and never call me back. What are you hiding? Now i know why my best friend Wesly was treated so bad and for something he didn't have. They don't care, if they did, we wouldn't have been treated like that and they would have at the least call me.
2 employees in the store part of the business heard my mouth and the commotion and after i left they came to me and confirmed how bad they are there. They told me they would never bring their pets there. Never going back nor is anyone i know ever going back after my poor pup was handled like a piece of meat for them to make money. I will never let this go and will keep telling everyone, until they make it right. I'm at the dog parks several times a day telling everyone. They won't even contact me.
I used my disability money for that you know. You don't love animals, and you robbed me, a disabled person. So sad!

Have a blessed day, and my dog Wesley, forgives you.

I DON'T

Jezzo :)“

“We have been working with Cara for basic training for our very playful, energetic and friendly 3 month old German Shorthaired Pointer. She has been amazing! Within one session with Cara, we found ourselves with a more manageable puppy. Our puppy also loves working with Cara. Cara really cares about what she does and it definitely shows! She arrives on time and knows exactly what to do. She’s also available to field any questions or troubleshoot any situations for 2 weeks after your session. We highly recommend her to anyone!“

“Ruff Translating has been an absolute life saver for me in training my service dog, Mae. The entire team is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They were able to make recommendations based on my needs and also on the genetics/breed of my dog. I learned so much about dog training, building confidence, and meeting the needs of your dog. I know I could not have trained my dog for service work without them and she is so happy now that she has a job and has more emotional regulation and confidence!“
