“Anthony at APL, Inc. is a top-notch professional who employs the most skilled subcontractors, who were not only respectful towards my property, but my neighbors as well. Prior to starting the project, my neighbors received notification of the project from Anthony, including relevant details that might cause noise disturbances, which my neighbors very much appreciated! As the homeowner, I was always well-informed of all upcoming activities (i.e., when my heat or water to be shut off or inspector visits) and changes in scheduling due to weather or conflicts. A lockbox was always used for entry which really minimized unnecessary traffic and dirt throughout the house and allowed the contractors access when I was unavailable. The entire crew worked reasonable hours, made every effort to keep the work site clean as they worked, and protected my property by either removing items out of harm’s way or covering large items as needed. I can happily report that there were no damages to my property!APL, Inc. successfully completed many large-scale projects at my residence (installed an upgraded septic system, added 1000 sq foot of additional space that included a foundation, finished basement, and two bedrooms with an ensuite on the main floor, completely remodeled the kitchen, and repainted the entire house). At no point did I ever worry about how things would get done because Anthony’s competent team always had all the answers - I was presented with options (when applicable), warned of potential issues with my design choices, and the team was very accommodating with reasonable changes upon request.I am a very satisfied customer who expected to run into some issues along the way, but fortunately, there were none. Anthony was always open to different design options, mindful of waste, readily shared cost-saving strategies, and kept unavoidable inconveniences to a minimum for me and the neighborhood. “Almar had done previous projects for us: replacing Storm and Entry Doors, replacing a Wood Deck with a AZEK/ Timberteck deck, and replacing Windows, a Slider, and installing a new floor when redoing our Sunroom.This project was replacing the front and side stairs with AZEK ones. Also, a large bush on each side of the front stairs had to be removed.As with the previous projects, Craig promptly met with us and provided an estimate which was thorough and complete. “Thom is terrific! Mean that in the truest sense. I had a partial bath renovation that included new tiling and alcove bath. Tile job was perfect as was the necessary carpentry. Thom is a perfectionist and leaves worksite immaculate after each visit. His suggestions are on target.You may have to wait to hire him and have wiggle room for your project but he is worth it!“

“We wanted to have asbestos pipe insulation removed in the basement of our new house. I had called NESM prior to the purchase to get an idea how expensive it would be. Jim was very helpful, asked a lot of detailed questions in order to give me the most accurate ballpark estimate. He also answered all of my questions patiently. When he came to the house to look at the job and give an estimate he was even telling we wouldn't need to remove the asbestos if we're not planning to be in the basement that often. He was very polite and professional and also adhered to COVID guidelines. We had to wait about 4 weeks for the crew to come (which he told me even before coming to give an in-person estimate) and everything went smoothly. However, a couple of weeks we discovered they missed a very small section at a wall. When I reached out to NESM, Jim called me right away, apologized and sent a crew the very same day to remove it at no cost. Overall I'm very pleased with the experience.“

“I have worked with Steve O'Keefe and Eagle Build and Remodel for approx 15 years on a number of projects. Steve and his team are all professional. This last project remodel of the kitchen had been in the plans for a bit. I had a pipe burst requiring repairs in the bathroom as well as basement ceiling replacement. Steve was able to provide me direction and a quick quote. Perfect opportunity to move forward with kitchen and bathroom remodel. Steve spent the time to educated me on necessary steps and timeline from picking out cabinets, appliances, faucets, lighting and painting. We also refinished the hardwood floors throughout the house (a disrupting job in itself). Steve assisted me in locating a storage unit, had some of his team move furniture into/out of the unit. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that has been completed. Already discussing next project.“

Ralph took time to explain how the heating system worked as he cleaned the ducts. He also cleaned my furnace for the quoted price with out adding a fee. He took his time and did it right. “From start to finish the bathtub to shower conversion was seamless. Steve spent a lot of time deciding on aspects of the shower, especially grab bars to accommodate my wife's mobility issues and concerns. Rick and Leo arrived as scheduled. They were extremely polite, and spent a lot of time with my wife deciding on the height of the shower seat and exact location of the grab bars and hand held shower, and even adding an additional grab bar. Jay did an excellent job with the plumbing and assisted with the installation of a replacement vanity cabinet, top and faucet.
