IT WAS A NO BRAINER
WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AROUND FOR BASEMENT FINISHING COMPANIES WE FOUND IMPRESSIVE BASEMENTS ONLINE. WE REALIZE IT’S A RENOVATION NO-NO BUT WE DIDN’T EVEN SHOP AROUND FOR PRICING BECAUSE AFTER TALKING WITH STEVE AND VISITING THE SHOWROOM, IT WAS A NO BRAINER TO USE THEM. STEVE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, PERSONABLE AND WHILE HE IS PART OWNER IN THE COMPANY, DOESN’T GIVE THE USED CAR SALESMAN PITCH. WE COULD HAVE VISITED OTHER HOUSES THEY FINISHED OR READ THE RECOMMENDATION LETTERS BUT THE PRODUCT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. WE WANTED OUR BASEMENT TO BE A LARGE FAMILY ROOM WITH A HALF BATH. Steve and team did an unbelievable job finishing our basement. Our basement is older and an interesting size so I wasn’t sure how it would come out but could not be more happy with the way it did. Steve was patient and answered my tons of questions and was easy to work with. His whole team was talented and great to work with as well. Steve only uses the best materials for basements and I would highly recommend him and his team.

We've just completed the process of working with KAKS for the finishing of the basement of our house. I cannot say enough good things about working with Steve and every member of the KAKS team. After interviewing many contractors for the project, we decided to go with KAKS because Steve immediately seemed familiar with the many potential pitfalls of our particular basement situation.
