“December 2025 update — it's 2025 and Vista is still standing behind the work they did for me more than a decade ago. This review is based on a recent repair that Vista did for me. In 2013 they installed a new roof on my garage. When a wind storm damaged a few shingles a couple of months ago, I called Vista. Within a week they had someone out to take care of the problem at no cost to me. How many companies have that kind of integrity after so many years? I can't say enough in praise of the young man who came to fix the problem. Marc has been out to my house several times over the years to fix minor issues with the roofing shingles and it is always a pleasure to see him. He arrives on time, assesses the damage, and corrects the problem with great competence and care. He answers questions patiently and without condescension — something I really appreciate as a senior citizen who must rely on the expertise and honesty of others when I need help. He is kind, personable, and simply a joy to work with. Moreover, I am always confident that the job has been done correctly. This time, he went beyond the call of duty to look at a minor problem I was having with a section of the roof gutter that was too high for me to reach. “Beyond Green is an amazing company. At best having a roof replaced is an annoyance. At its worst having a roof replaced is the kind of stress you hope to never, ever have to enure for a day or so, much less a week. Recently we replaced the crumbling slate roof on our Greenfield Victorian home with Beyond Green. The roof was in terrible disrepair, sits beneath an enormous copper beach tree , and is at ungodly pitch. For the average layman the job seemed impossible. Thank goodness my husband selected Beyond Green to do the work. Not only is the roof stunningly beautiful ,the owners and crew were an absolute joy to work with. I won't lie to you, I hated every single moment of the process, but the beyond green crew were so kind and supportive and frequently went out of their way to make sure we experienced the least possible amount of stress. They are deeply respectful as well. On any given day there were 3-5 workmen on the porch roof in front of our second floor windows and not once did I feel my privacy was compromised. No one ever looked in, not even by accident and when my sparsely dressed young female intern came by for a meeting not one head turned and not one comment was made. There was never inappropriate language or behavior in my yard, in fact quite the opposite.... They kept the property as clean as they could on a daily basis and they kept us updated on the process. For 7 days Beyond Green showed up when they said they would and let us know when they were leaving. Nothing at all was left to chance or surprise. If you need to have a roof replaced or of you want to work with a construction crew that are not only expert in their field but considerate and respectful humans there is simply no other choice. I wholeheartedly recommend Beyond Green. Hire them for your project, you'll be so glad you did.“

“We hired Colonial Carpentry Innovations INC (CCI) for a 400 square foot home addition and bathroom remodel project. They did an excellent job on this complicated project. We are extremely happy with the outcome.

Permitting was a particular challenge in this case since we are near water and a full environmental study had to take place. CCI did an excellent job managing that process and getting the permit efficiently. They worked well with the building inspector and the town, pulling off the whole job without any legal hitches.

Their work was on time and reasonably close to budget. They were also exceptionally thoughtful about disruptions to the house; they kept things clean and protected, and left the site in pristine condition. They also paid close attention to our daughter’s needs, who was living in the house while the work was completed.

CCI took special care to make sure the addition fit in with the original house both in regards to planning and execution. They went to great lengths to match the cedar shakes on the existing house, lining up new rows exactly in line with the existing. Seams inside the house are also smooth. The floor transition is level; the wall is smooth from new to old. Overall the addition fits the house excellently.

The new space that was created is a perfect fit for our needs for the house and shows that this project was both well conceived and well executed. We are extremely appreciative of CCI’s work and recommend them for projects of this nature.“

“Randy, did several jobs for us, lifted our deck cuz it was sagging, due to weight and bowing of wood. He did a great job reinforcing it. He also fixed some animal wholes near the roof, shampooed and power washed the roof and concrete areas. Everything turned out great and I would highly recommend him for your interior and exterior needs. Remolding, Painting, power washing ect.“
