What a great salon/school. It’s clean, the workers are kind and welcoming. The students attending the school are the ones who work in the salon. Such a great opportunity to get a great cut and color at a reasonable price while providing the students an opportunity to learn. It’s a win-win!
I highly recommend Empire in Malden! I’ve seen several different students here, and they have all been wonderful. The instructors are very hands-on and supportive, making sure every service is done perfectly. It’s a great environment where you can tell the students are being trained to be confident and knowledgeable before they head out into the industry.
I recently went to the school for help detangling my hair, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the experience I had. I met with Christine (instructor)and Alyah, who worked on my hair along with another student (she had short blue hair I’m so sorry I forgot her name!).
Christine, Alyah, and the other student were absolutely outstanding professional, patient, cheerful, and incredibly kind. They treated me with such care and respect. The service truly felt VIP. I walked out of the school with happy tears because I genuinely needed help, and they gave me not just a service, but support and compassion.
