“I have been going to Pleasant Optical for over 40 years and never have been disappointed. On occasion I have tried the LensCrafters and other places like them when Pleasant Optical has been on vacation and I needed glasses. Always the lenses from these other places were junk, they all were supposed to be scratch resistance but always scratched. All the lenses I get from Pleasant Optical have never scratched. And talk about personalized service and custom fit glasses, this is the place. You go to a chain store and have to pick what they have, here they can order different temple lengths, different width glasses etc. This is a family business so they are only open M-F which can make it difficult but well worth the effort. Pricing is in line with the chain stores, maybe a bit more, but well worth it.“
“I recently found out that my 2 year old needs glasses, and let me tell you, I’ve been through the ringer trying to find the right fit for her and an optical shop that would fill frames for little ones. I called a handful of times with multiple questions as a parent new to the glasses world and every time I called the person on the phone was kind and helpful. I bought frames online and then brought my daughter in to get the lenses filled, and it was honestly a great experience. The woman who greeted me was sweet and welcoming, and the optician that helped us and took measurements was knowledgable and helpful. After having to return glasses elsewhere because she was measured wrong and an all around horrible experience, I will forever be bringing my daughter’s frames to this Walmart to get filled.“

“This past week I went to Elliott eye doctors for an annual exam- I was in need of new contacts and glasses.I have been going to an eye doctor for 30+ years and the experience I had with Dr. Elliott and team was exceptional.I had a last minute cancellation with my babysitter and had to bring my daughter. The staff was so friendly occupying my daughter as I was getting my exam done.The staff was efficient, well trained, and quickly took care of the initial part of the exam before seeing Dr. Elliott.Dr. Elliott took her time and listened to my concerns with my previous prescription and provided me with samples to make sure I felt comfortable with a brand before purchasing a year supply of contacts.I then I was able to pick out a pair of sunglasses and glasses. The staff was very helpful by pulling glasses that they thought would fit my face.ALL of this was done in under an hour and with a 1 year old smiling ( thanks to the girls). It is rare to find a small business that has staff that are all knowledgeable of the inventory provided and have such positive personalities!! I highly recommend switching to this location if you are in the area!!!!“
