“Kristen is such a pleasure to work with? She is extremely professional but also so kind and helpful with selecting the right wig for you! Her prices are excellent and she can actually cut and style the wig you selected because she is a talented stylist?
I don’t usually post negative reviews, but because i had a bad experience with Mane Wigs in Peabody that i feel it is necessary for me to share my experience☹️ I spend about $2000.00 for a topper and a wig.
I was told that the topper was a perfect match, but unfortunately it had a pink tint and although I love the topper It looks like I have a fake hairpiece on top of my head and I will never wear it! I then proceeded to purchase a wig that we selected a beautiful color for me and waited two months for it to arrive. When it came in it was a totally different color??? I was told that it looked GORGEOUS and made to feel like I was wrong in not liking it? FINAL SALE!!!
When driving home I looked in the mirror in my car and was shocked to see a banana yellow wig on my head and the color I wanted and ordered was a soft creamy light blonde???
Also, I showed the owner a picture that a saw of a wig I thought I would really love and asked if she could get it for me? She didn’t tell me she already had this wig in the store and when i tried it on not knowing it was the one i saw in an add I loved it… So she then ordered it in that creamy blonde color…
She wasn’t honest with me and gave me a phony compliment and definitely charged me appropriately $200 more than I could have paid elsewhere ?!!!

Kristen is the total opposite of this and I found the perfect wig!!!!? For health reasons I need to wear a wig and couldn’t be happier working with a professional and kind person like Kristen?“

“Sarai is amazing. She did my hair for a wedding, I was in, in the past. So I felt comfortable bringing my daughter to her for her first"grown-up" cut (more than just straight across). I was nervous to bring her to get it done, but Sarai really made the process painless. Instead of rushing through the cut, she really took her time and cut little by little. She talked to my daughter the whole time, making her feel comfortable. The end result was amazing. The haircut came out beautiful, and my daughter loved her. “I have been going to Mermaid Hair for the past few years. It’s a quaint little place located in Beverly. They are known for their vibrant colors. Chloe is my stylist and she is extremely talented and knowledgeable about techniques, vibrant colors, and making sure that she understands exactly what the client is requesting. She pays attention to the details and will even be as transparent and honest to say that what the client wants may not be the best for their hair type
and comes up with a workaround solution. Consistency is so important when getting your hair colored and Chloe nails it every single time. I went from being a blonde to this beautiful copper color. Any color or copper/red is so hard to maintain and single time I leave the salon I feel like a new person with soft, shiny and vibrant hair. The prices are very fair for the service that is rendered. I highly recommend mermaid Hair. Chloe is amazing and very down to earth. So happy that I found her!“

“I would like to respond to "Neil P" review. I remember it clearly because to be honest it was the first time something like that ever happened. This gentleman came into the salon with no appointment on a Saturday. Anyone knows a Salon's busiest day is on a Saturday. The Salon was extremely busy and yes he did sit and wait a bit before someone greeted him. We assumed he was waiting for someone because he NEVER approached the reception desk. When we did a visual cross reference with our clients and realized he was not with anyone, we asked if we could help him and he said he would like a haircut..We were completely booked but willing to accommodate, so we told him he could come back and we would get him in. He did come back and he did wait because he was being squeezed in and yes Tony was chatting away with his clients and taking his time because that's the type of barber that he is. He takes his time and gives the client what they pay for. Technically this 1 star review is actually in our favor because he said it just right. "Taking our time and chatting with our client." Sorry Neil your experience was not a good one!“
