Judy is a fantastic trainer, I’ve been attending classes for a year and my only regret is that I didn’t go to her sooner. I originally went to a trainer in Maynard who told me I had a difficult breed of dog and was going to struggle, totally eroded my already low confidence. Judy was so lovely, she reassured me, gave excellent advice which worked for me and my pup and has been invaluable in our training journey. We have earned our AKC novice and intermediate tricks titles and are going to try rally Classes are low pressure and fun, I highly recommend Judy.
I have been doing puppy training with my dog Archie for the last few months. Judy is an excellent trainer, using lots of positive reinforcement and is very creative in the training exercises and games in her teaching. She also provides a comprehensive manual when you begin training. It is such a valuable resource, not just for specific training exercises for your class; it’s a treasure trove of games and lots of specific training suggestions and review of what’s been taught. She also provides access to her training videos for the class exercises. I highly recommend Judy for her depth of knowledge and superb teaching skills, as well as her kind-hearted, supportive approach to us dog parents as well as the dogs!
Judy does an amazing job setting puppies up to succeed and become more confident and social. I encourage all my clients with young dogs to send their puppies under 16 weeks to her socialization sessions and her puppy class.
