I had an excellent experience at Bay State PT with Alan for treatment of my chronic upper back/shoulder pain of over 10 years. For this issue, I had previously tried 3 rounds of PT, acupuncture, cupping, massage, lidocaine injections, and steroid injections with no decrease in pain or noticeable improvement. After a few months with Alan, my pain noticeably decreased and I now have very few flares. Alan was attentive, empathetic, and thoughtful- even asking me to watch videos of me playing my niche sport to better understand how it could be impacting my pain. Rachel has been amazing - I’m back to running again after she helped treat my labral tear. She’s so good that I came up with a second injury just so I could keep going to her - all jokes aside she diagnosed the recent issue with my elbow more accurately than even the orthopedic elbow specialist did.
