Josh at Back on Track is a terrific physical therapist. He combines stretching, spinal adjustments, muscle release and dry needling to treat cervical spine issues, sciatica, tennis elbow, back pain, you name it. And unlike a lot of PTs I've gone to, Josh is an athlete. So when you talk about injuries, he gets it! Highly recommended.
I've just started here and will update as my therapy continues. Back on Track is a little office located inside the Charles Hotel in Cambridge. But don't be deceived by the size. They have access to the full gym and pool that the Hotel provides, as well as massage tables in their office. Parking isn't easy, but it's a 5 minute walk from Harvard T Station, which is what I use. I just finished my third session, and I'm already impressed. I love the facilities that the Charles Hotel provides from the changing rooms, heated pool, hot tub, to the sauna. Offers a great many options for PT. Josh is my PT and from day one, nailed exactly where my issue is. I've been dealing with severe back pain since 2011 and have tried many different places. Day two involved some serious muscle work that left me achy, but in a good way (work out those knots!). My latest one, I finally got into the pool and it was a nice easy exercise to start working out my tight muscles. I enjoyed the hot tub after my session since the heat and jets felt great on those sore muscles. I can't wait to continue my sessions and I'm hoping that my pain will decrease over time.
Jaime was AMAZING. I had some problems with my hip (Yes, I'm secretly a 78 year old), and I went and saw Jaime and it was just an absolutely wonderful experience. I've never had PT before, but I learned a lot of great stretches and exercises. In about 6 or 7 visits, I went from walking being painful, to being able to use the elliptical again (albeit for only a few minutes at at time). I really felt like Jaime gave me everything I needed to recover, and once she felt I was solidly on my way, she told me I was all set and that I could do the rest of it on my own. I really appreciated her honesty about closing my case, and saving me the time and the money! Another big plus in my book was that it was easy to get an appointment at Back on Track, and the location is really convenient for those of us without cars (right in the Charles Hotel complex, actually in the Wellbridge), just a few minutes from the T at Harvard Square.
