I had a great experience at Lahey Hospital. Dr. Arkonac and her team took excellent care of me. Special shout out to the nurses in the cath lab and ep clinic for making me feel well cared for. Julie in cath lab was wonderful. Hopefully never have to return for another ablation, but if I do I’m going to lahey.
Everyone was wonderful, poor reviews are probably from people who had to wait because triage exists. Bridgette nurse in ED was great & Lauren on 7 West. Also the front desk woman at the ED is the first line of defense of protecting the staff & patients beyond those doors. If she was rude to you, it's probably for a reason.
My mom was brought into the ER, later to be moved to the critical care unit(where she passed shortly after). EVERY nurse and doctor involved in the care of my mom, was phenomenal. I don’t have words to express how amazing the team was, not only with her but, also my entire family. They did everything in their power to keep my mom comfortable and at peace. They couldn’t do enough for us, as we spent a day and a half by her bedside. They were constantly offering food, drinks, tissues, pants(to my sister), literally anything we needed.
