I had a great experience at Lahey Hospital. Dr. Arkonac and her team took excellent care of me. Special shout out to the nurses in the cath lab and ep clinic for making me feel well cared for. Julie in cath lab was wonderful. Hopefully never have to return for another ablation, but if I do I’m going to lahey.

My insurance advised me not to pay this bill because you left me sitting in the Hall in a critical condition which I was sent down there by my neurologist who called ahead informing the charge nurse what the issue was and that my blood pressure kept dropping to 50/30. Not to mention Lahey is in my network and therefore the visit should only cost $100 so I am including this in my bankruptcy file in because after having numerous conversations with your billing department it's clear you're not going to reverse this charge nor are u even willing to decrease it 2 my hospital copay. I'm also reporting u 2 whatever department it is in Massachusetts that oversees cases such as these. Being a resident of nh I know exactly where 2 report it in here
but I will ask my team of specialists who are overseeing my autoimmune, auto inflammatory, cardiology, endocrinology and are also the second pair of eyes for my local neurologist so I'm also seeing a neurologist at MGH and a neuromuscular specialist at MGH and I will reach out to their patient advocate and ask them where I need to file a complaint regarding my visit to your terribly run er. I even had my neurologist call me on the my cell phone that day and you all refused to speak to him on my phone. And that was because you claimed he never called when both my mother and I spoke to him and he suggested we either call an ambulance and demand that they take us to Lahey which no ambulance would and so therefore he said
do not go to a local hospital in New Hampshire you have got to go to Lahey so I can be involved in your care there because you will need to be admitted. But instead you left me in the hallway for 18 hours not being seen once by a doctor and only once by a nurse who couldn't even be bothered in 4 hours to bring me a warm blanket.

GI department is rude when trying to schedule anything appointment definite won’t go here ever after the experience I been through on the portal and appointments just being scheduled with asking what day/times works for me. Told them to close my referral and that I will find another place who will actually listen and understand reasons why I canceled my appointments.

My nephew was recently transferred to your facility from a hospital on the south shore. A minimum of 10 doctors and surgeons agreed that his surgery should be done in Boston. Mass General accepted him unfortunately they had no beds. Leahy after looking at his records excepted him. He wasn’t there 12 hours when they told him no they weren’t gonna do it and took go home. Now we have to start from scratch. One doctor’s opinion outweighed more than 10 others. So for all the drug abuse in this World, you send someone home to live the rest of their life on pain meds instead of The surgery that would’ve alleviated all the pain. I had high hopes when I was told you accepted him. Lehi clinic is just a community hospital now to me that is just not up to the task. You are not on the same field as Boston

Frustrated from how a doctor treated me while “trying to get an IV in me.”
My other hand was bleeding so badly that it dripped down the side of me and I told her uh my arm is bleeding. gave me a napkin and told me to clean it up. Tried to find a vein in the photo I’m about to share. She then got on her phone and was texting. Unprofessional and didn’t listen to me about wanting /needing someone to find my veins

Lahey should shut the doors if a simple jobs of operators is answer question and if they hang up on your phone before you even finish worst health care facility ever poor customer service every single department !!!!!

Everyone was wonderful, poor reviews are probably from people who had to wait because triage exists. Bridgette nurse in ED was great & Lauren on 7 West. Also the front desk woman at the ED is the first line of defense of protecting the staff & patients beyond those doors. If she was rude to you, it's probably for a reason.
