Dreadguru is a professional salon specializing in dreadlocks and related services. The staff generally arrives on time and does a good job with all dread-related work. Have been going to The Dread Guru owner since the beginning of my loc journey (about 2yrs). She initially fixed my previous set of starter locs another stylist did that were not great. Throughout the time I’ve been going to her she has fixed bulging, upkept my locs, given me good advice about how to care for them and still takes my opinions into consideration. Booked services come with a wash. She has been doing this for a long time and it shows when she speaks about locs/ in her techniques/ and the time she spends. Her salon is well kept and clean. As far as pricing goes you are paying for her thorough services and expertise. Highly recommended.
I’ve been coming to The Dread Guru ever since I was getting braids and just started my Loc journey. Always kind, courteous and prompt. Always providing advice on hair care as well. For years she’s been doing my hair and nothing will change!
I had been to a few stylists prior that claimed they were able to provide the service I needed. Alberte is very professional and kind! Worked with me so I wouldn't have to miss work which helped out immensely! Will be back for sure!!!
