Michael is the man! I found him through a super affordable Groupon ad. I am a bodybuilder with a lot of aches and pains from heavy lifting and went in nearly crippled from lower back pain. After 1 session I felt a lot better and Mike gave me some exercises to do that have made a huge difference. He focuses a lot on education and really works with you to make positive change in your body. Definitely not a traditional relaxing massage which is important to know before hand, but if you want to get some work done and feel better, Mike is the guy to go to. Super accommodating with price and time as well. Definitely recommend and will continue going to him in the future.

I am just going to say it: I feel stupid for ever dropping a dime with other massage therapists. My shoulders have been curled up for 10+ years. In one session my shoulders are properly in line.

After every session with Mike I feel younger. Improvements to my mobility and flexibility have increased while my pain has decreased. Ailments that doctors and physical therapists told me to get used to have disappeared.
Michael is kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. I look forward to seeing him every week.

I usually don’t leave/post reviews but I feel it’s only right seeing the visible progress in my physical mobility ! (My first visit was A little less than A year ago) Grateful that I found him !!

He seems to genuinely care about my well being / Health. That’s rare.. Integrity is hard to come by !!

Mike is fantastic.. I've never had a sports massage like what he can do. I have been going to him for years and I refer all of my friends and family. Reach out and try him. You will not regret it

If your just looking for a relaxing massage, and dont want anybody talking over you the whole time you are having the massage, this place is not for you. Its very very hard to just relax and enjoy the session, because literally the whole time he was talking to me telling me to breathe heavy, and to push my forehead into the pillow. Sometimes if I did not do it right he would say "come on i really need you to breathe and focus" like what lol? He talks to you the whole time which is very annoying, and very hard to just enjoy the massage. The reason I give this massage 2 stars is because this guy really talks a lot, I mean he's a really nice person, but it was not for me. When I first walked in he just went on and on about what your muscles do this and that that lasted about 20-30 minutes of just talking about the body (i get that you want to try to explain to your clients all the things that your muscles do but i didnt come for a lesson lol if i want to know what the body does i can google search it). I woke up the next day with still a KNOT on my neck which was primarily the reason I went. He also massages very very hard which is very painful. He gives good stretches to do at the end, but not your typical massage place. Will not RETURN. Good guy but gatta let your clients relax and just do your job. :)

So good that even though I moved out of state I when I visit I book with Michael. This is not a relaxing massage: it’s a sports massage. Michael asks you to breathe and focus so that you help release your muscle tension. Highly highly recommend if you want someone who will work out all the tension in your body.

I've been going here for about 2.5 years, I figured I'd write a review especially since many of us are cooped up in our homes and slouching at our computers as well as a bit hesitant to do things like seek out a massage etc. I first started going to Michael when I had a very aggravated pinched nerve, I had tried multiple rounds of physical therapy that just weren't helping. I also saw a chiropractor who told me that I was healing and to just give it time. But it kept recurring. While I am active, I would not consider myself an athlete. My first appointment was my first massage in five years after a bad experience with another vendor. Michael explained everything, made sure I was comfortable and was incredibly professional. He helped coach me through breathing properly to help the massage be fully effective. He also explained to me at the end stretches and foam rolling that I could do to help prevent the recurrence of the pinched nerve. Additionally he explained to me the muscles that were weak, which were helping the injury to reoccur. I wrote it down and started a regimen of those exercises to correct those muscle imbalances. Some things to note on Covid: He wears a mask the entire time, as do you. I feel very safe in his office. I know that he follows various protocols including temp checks, sanitizing, etc. Some things to note if you're used to massage envy or a fancy, bougie spa. This is a sports massage, your muscles are going to go through a bit of a beating. You will feel amazing afterward but this is isn't an aromatherapy situation where someone is lightly dropping scented oil on you. It's intense. ***If you are looking to listen to spa music, close your eyes and drift off, this is not the right choice, nor is any sports massage really.*** I think most of the negative reviews are because that is the experience folks are expecting. If you're looking to relax your muscles, gain mobility, understand your muscles and feel better this is the place.!!!
