I wanted to take a minute to appreciate the haircut that Amari gave me at We Are Hair, on Hyde Park Ave in Boston. I was new and she took time with me, asking questions about what I wanted, she listened carefully, and then gave me a perfect haircut in a short period of time. Perfection! I highly recommend her.
Amari, who owns the salon, was so nice and personable. I'm awkward and never know what to say to stylists, but she is so easy to talk to. She treats you like you've known each other for years. The best part was that she explained to me what type of hair I actually have and how to treat it to keep it from looking oily so soon after I wash it. I'm 33 and no stylist has EVER told me how to take care of my hair. I will definitely be going back!
Words to describe Amari and her haircuts: Kind, skilled, fun, profound, inclusive, enjoyable, and cathartic. I had a WONDERFUL first experience at We Are Hair today, and was delighted by the vibe, generosity, and results. Highly recommend.
