Had a great experience with Carlos. I’ve always struggled to find anyone who was able to give my very straight, thin hair any texture and he did wonderfully.
Carlos was very patient and understanding with the consultation and incredibly skilled with the razor and scissors.

This was the worst haircut experience of my life. Razor had no regard for curtesy or care throughout the entire experience, as he constantly scraped my ears and neck. He was visibly in a rush, and it resulted in a cut that was not worth the price tag at all. I can't speak for the rest of the shop, but Razor was entirely careless, visibly annoyed, and uninviting.

You can get lucky with one of the guys here and get a descent fade but don’t take your chances. I have been here twice. Not going again.
Overall - Highly Unprofessional Salon
I asked for a low fade; and He left my back looking like a mushroom cap in rush.
I am going to another barber again to fix the damage
This would still be fine if it was a one off thing. But the place doesn’t keep napkins or after shave or have any professional obligation towards their customer after they cut and bleed them during shave.
I don’t know how they are surviving at Newbury St with this low standards and level of service

The best hairdresser and barber in whole of Cambridge and Boston. I moved to Boston in 2022 and since have been to numerous hairdressers, always leaving disappointed. Street Salon & Barber Shop is a rare find. I booked my first appointment with Nick and since only have my hair cut by him. He listens carefully to what I want and pays incredible attention to detail. I always leave exactly with the hairstyle I came for. Moreover, he also truly understands customer experience. Conversations with him are always interesting and entertaining, but he never forces them on me. Nick is the only hairdresser I’ve been to whom I happily tip. I can‘t recommend him enough.
