I was experiencing homelessness with no place to stay in Boston and not only would they not let me stay the night they would not even let me use the bathroom. I can barely walk. You cannot stand longer than 5 minutes but they did not care. They turned me away
I have been sober for 13 years

The staff are genuinely interested and proactive about assisting veterans. The food is a blessing, healthy, and plentiful. The accommodations are pleasant and comfortable. The atmosphere is friendly.

none of these reviews have anything to do with the broken down housing and disgruntled employees working at the shelter. I'm really curious what all of these reviews are talking about when they say trading with The New England Center, since this is supposed to be a nonprofit charity...

I live here now and the staff is deplorable. I had one of several issues that I was dealing with and unfortunately I had to go all the way up to the Vice President to have him lie to my face. This is not a charity, it is a business. And from what I saw at Christmas most of the food that was donated was taken by cleaning staff. We should have been eating on that for days.

Besides that the only part of the building that we are trying to put money in and keep up is what the public sees, the first floor, oh and of course the offices. We have totally let the residential part go.

This is not the way to treat veterans!

This place don't care about vets. This place is an exploitation scheme. The owner Warren. He is a fat Black man with glasses. He likes to harass veterans and he treats employees like trash.
