Great doctor but terrible experienced with their service. August 17. First time visited got my eye exam . I also told them I won't be back until sept 9. Sept: after three weeks .i received a call/voice message said I can pick up my glasses. My girlfriend was nearby so I told her to pick up for me. She Went there and the lady said no glasses. Next 2 week me and my girlfriend was near Chinatown. We both went up to the doctor and still didn't have my glasses. I know it was my fault not to call first but come on after 2 week. Total time of 2 months lol. Finally Next few day they call led me and left message . Of course I'm call and confirm ask them stupid question if the glasses are physical holding in their hand. Otherwise I would not go there. Took me 2 months and 3 visit to get my glasses lol . I know maybe this was an odd day.

I went there for my contacts lens exam, and he was not patient at all. Not to mention, their store hours are very odd and he is not expected to be there when they open and until they close, and is frequently late. Makes it difficult for someone on a tight schedule. I also went back after my lenses popped out of my glasses the other day and he put the lenses back in incorrectly and on the wrong side-almost damaging my lens and frame! Won't be going back....

Fast and efficient. I was early for my appointment, but I was able to see the doctor sooner and got out in less time than expected! The office was clean and sanitary and the receptionist was polite. They have a modest selection of glasses available for order. My glasses were supposed to take two weeks, but I got them much faster. Completely satisfied with the entire office.

I love this place. walked in, and got my eye exam done with a doctor who was very knowledgeable. They even had my prescription lens in stock. Price is very reasonable and unpretentious space without any frills. Will not hesitate to go back next time i need to get my yearly eye exam done.

If you happen to make an appointment, you had better call ahead and see if anyone is there. I made an appointment using the on-line system, received several reminders and was thinking how cool the on-line system worked! But, when I arrived at the office and it was closed, I was less impressed, When I called the office, they told me "Yes, we're closed because Dr. Zhu's house did not have power". It would have been nice if they had called or emailed me rather than confirming the appointment just 30 minutes before I arrived. After excusing myself from work to make this appointment and walking through a slushy city, I was not very happy with the fact that the place was closed. Update: I appreciate the response from Dr. Zhu. However, you said that 'we never confirmed the appointment'. The agreement that you have with your booking company (ZocDoc) says that all appointments available on the on-line system are available (they called me to explain this). And here is the text that I received on my phone confirming the appointment: 'ZocDoc appt reminder: 3:30 PM Today Dr. Xinsheng Zhu 65 Harrison Aven, Suite 403, Boston (617) 426-1726' To me, this looks an awful lot like a confirmation.

The staff is very friendly. Nice and spacious environment. We are lucky to have an open spot right away so it's like walk-in. The doctor also pointed out that our insurance would give free exam even we didn't buy vision. He is very detailed and caring. Plus it is right in Chinatown and we can just grab food right after. Extra bonus!

I did a contact Len eye examination and bought dozens of lens there and the experience was great. The doctor is really friendly and seem professional. He is dedicated to his job and showed his patience and precision. The best thing I like here is that usually u can do a walk in for everything. My experience is limited to Rhode Island's eye care where u have to make appointment at least 1 week prior. The only pity is that this branch in chinatown closes at 1 pm a few days in a week. After that time, u have to go to newton branch instead

Amazing experience! Booked same day on zocdoc and filled out the paperwork on my phone. The doctor fixed a previous poor prescription and gave me enough contacts for my 3 week trip the next day. Also got a bonus solution box and good price.
