- Cheap and affordable (only $16 for men haircut) - Room is air conditioned comfortably - No appointment, you just walk in, but queue can be long. I got in at 2PM on Sunday and there were 5 people sitting ahead of me, with only one old man and one old woman working. waited for roughly an hour sitting on the chair (if I remember correctly) - They are very fluent in Chinese, they can speak and understand basic English.
I read about their services on Yelp while looking for a hairstylist. I wear my hair in a modified crew cut and usually cut my own hair. I walked to the salon on Saturday afternoon around 1500 and there were two-three people waiting. The gentleman greeted me when I came in and I took a seat. This is a throwback to an earlier time where you can actually sit and relax. There were men and women getting their haircuts and I noticed the care they took on each cut. Both of the owners speak English and there was no issue when I sat down in his chair for my cut. He is SKILLED!!! This is one of the best haircuts I have had in some time (certainly much better than my self-cut)!!...read full review
