I was recently in Boston to visit my son. He has gone to Gino's for years and had an appointment scheduled with him while I was there, so my wife and I went with him. I was in need of haircut, and Gino was able to cut mine after my son's. What a great haircut, and we all had a good conversation about the World Cup Soccer matches taking place. Both he and my son are big fans.

Gino also told us about the history of his business - long enough that father's brought their son's in for cuts as family tradition. In my case, I followed my son :<}

I'll look forward to my next cut when I'm back in town again.

I have been a customer of Johnny/Gino for more than FIFTY years!! I was a full-time professional back in my twenties, and someone recommended Gino, as he has moved from Harvard Square to join Johnny in his North End barber shop. I have been a customer though at least 3 moves, originally next to the Old North Church! Yup! Gino is the only person who has cut my hair for 5 decades! We were both single in the 1970's when I started coming, and now we are both grandparents! I drive in from the western suburbs, but he is my GO-TO person. He used to cut my children's hair, as well. Now they are grown and no longer live here. I would highly recommend Gino. He is warm, affable, and a one-of-a kind gentleman.
