Every lab experience has been super easy. I am in and out in less than 10 minutes. The same woman has drawn my blood the past two times and she is so nice. She knows I don’t like needles so makes it as seamless and quick as possible.

I have never posted a Google review before but do want to warn others/confirm what others are saying about the repeated incorrect billing/overbilling and also baffling confusion around referrals and other administrative processes. I have encountered some really wonderful doctors but something on the admin side is broken at Atrius. I started encountering this over the last 2 years and at multiple locations

Karen Bikofsky has been my PCP since ~2019. I typically visit once a year for my physical and she is always kind, friendly, and thorough, and remembers me. I’ve visited more often these past two years due to some recurrent health issues, and Karen has always been professional and orders the tests that I need or explains why something isn’t medically necessary. All but one of my visits have been in-person; I had a single telehealth visit when I requested to see an allergist and PT earlier this year. Karen was able to refer me to a physical therapist in Post Office Square (same building, super convenient, I recommend Holly Kantor!!) and an allergist in Kenmore. I also love everyone else on her team; communicating through MyChart messages is easy. Special shoutout to Darya and Aarushi!
I choose my own local pharmacy to pick up RXs but I do get blood draws here for labs and the phlebotomists are always professional and skilled.

I called looking for a PCP because I need information and help navigating specialty care after a car hit me. I do not need anything other than information and for someone to review my record and help me figure out where to go for specialty care. The people acted like I was the scum of the earth and refused to even see me. What arrogance! PS, I called the number they show below in their response, and left a message. No response from them at all. What unprofessional scammers.

Not a big fan of the Pharmacy here. I have had a lot of issues with some of my prescriptions where I call to refill with the Automated System and they tell me they need to order it with the Dr because I am out of refills. I then wait and call back a few days later and it seems like the Dr. never got the order for the refill or something and basically I have to keep doing a ton of work to try and get my medication. Very frustrating.

I did my blood sample this morning (9/12/2025) and then felt my arm been sore and heavy throughout the day. Here is what I saw after I returned home and removed the tape. I don’t think any further comment is needed. Still pains.

Frequent incorrect billing. This is the only place I have ever had issues where preventative services are routinely billed out as diagnostic. These include routine sexual health screening as well as lab work. Billing office provides dubious, irrational reason for billing under diagnostic codes while the physician visit summary clearly indicates lack of symptoms and preventative order of lab.

This is about Dr Hale and her staff and that department although I did not talk to her about this latest incident . I went to the hospital my sugar was 460 there was a lot of questions about whether it was the meter or not . So 6 days ago prior to this going to the hospital I called him I said need new Nida and then when the nurses says well I don't have time to call you Insurance you're going to have to do that I've got 65 different answers and they promised me cuz I only have five test strips it's a Friday with the meter I got now . And the pharmacies got the test strips for another meter that doesn't mean nothing they said they're going to argue today I told them about the insurance everything oh no now they have to figure out when the insurance so a diabetically just came out of the hospital with a 460 sugar has a meeting that's all over the place and no new test meter . But test strips for the new meter that I don't have . They could kill us told him I'll get a goddamn lawyer and so on . Baby I am going to report them to their supervisors because this is uncalled for you know Dad just go on and on and on and on and on and they have one of them say well I don't have time to call the insurance you have to call well I don't know what insurance is a required and I told them what you do three days ago and they never did it they're doing it now well not now cuz it's Friday I hope this supervisor reads this and there's some shake up cuz I'm going to make sure there's a jack up all day long it's now 508 I started from before noon to do this . So leave a diabetic with a 460 reading and then it went higher without any equipment they all should lose their f****** jobs . And I mean it I've done this six days ago they had plenty of time they just wanted to lollygag then another one if I didn't going to see the doctor which I wanted you but I was not feeling right by sugar was 480 and and they blackmailed me if I did not show up you're not going to get a meter that was one of the nurses well I'll put blackmail then let's see what happens stay away from this place it sucks
