Called in to ask a few questions and book an appointment. As I began asking questions I found the vet staff to be incredibly rude and condescending. If they feel this is the correct approach to talking with potential clients, I cannot imagine how I would ever feel comfortable taking my animal here…. If you love your animals, do yourself a favor and don’t take them to these miserable people.

Had a great experience with the North Station Office. We usually go to the South boston office but NS was able to get us in sooner as Trevor had a MPL issue that needed immediate attention. The Emilies ( front desk Emily and vet tech Emily) were kind and understanding for this worried dog Mom! Sherry was so kind too. Vet explained everything in detail and gave sound information in regards to options for my morkie’s car Will definitely return🥰

My dog had been experiencing excessive drooling over the past few months, which was particularly concerning given that he is an 8-year-old French Bulldog. When seeking treatment, we prioritized not only cost but also the comfort and safety of our dog, as putting a short-nosed dog under anesthesia can be very concerning.

We consulted multiple veterinary practices and received consistent recommendations from each. Ultimately, we chose Boston Animal Hospital North Station, drawn both by the pricing and the genuine care demonstrated by Dr. Hemstreet.

Our dog required two attempts at the procedure, and at no point was there any fault on the part of the doctors. They carefully outlined the associated risks, and in my opinion, made the best decisions for each situation. At every step, their recommendations were guided by my dog’s health and well-being rather than financial considerations.

Dr. Monteiro, led the second surgery, and thoroughly explained each step of the procedure and his reasoning, demonstrating a level of care and professionalism that went above and beyond our expectations.

I also want to thank the wonderful staff, who are incredibly helpful and understanding. They always remember Frank by name when I call and are consistently friendly and supportive, which makes every visit much easier.

It is important for me to note that I am writing this as my husband is checking out, and not once did anyone ask us to leave a review. I mention this because I am sometimes skeptical when reading other reviews. Our experience here was genuinely that fantastic.

I was running late to my appointment, came in and they told me I had to wait to be seen since I was 15 min late, I was fine with that and agreed on waited. After an hour the lady came back to tell me they weren't able to see me today, after an hour of waiting!! I was there only for a vaccine. My dog is a patient on record hence she didn't need to be seen for an exam. I have been there before for vaccines and usually a tech takes the dog for a whole 5-10 minutes and you're done. They purposely made me wait an hour before telling me they were “fully booked” On top of that they go ahead and charge 25$ for a late fee!!! Are you serious? These people are disgusting and they are not even busy. Keep your miserable 25$ I'm never coming back

We moved to Boston from Boulder last week. Just prior to moving my dog had an unexpected major surgery so we wanted to get in with a vet as soon as we got settled. Boston Animal Hospital was convenient and is in walking distance from our new home, but more importantly the reviews were great and the hours work for my busy schedule. Our eval could not have gone better. We saw Dr Monteiro who was great with my dog... got on the floor with him, answered all my questions, and was very informative and thorough. I had some lingering concerns from CO and he addressed all of them. I never felt addressed through the appt. The rest of the staff we met was equally great. They were all so friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated.

I would highly recommend Boston Animal Hospital. I went in with a concern about my kitty and they were very welcoming and calm. They explained every possible scenario and set me up with a plan to monitor my cat for the next couple days. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be using this as our primary vet moving forward.

Very knowledgeable and honest. We were able to set up an appointment quickly and easily.

Extremely gentle and thorough checkup. Cats were relaxed and comfortable throughout the appointment.

He prescribed medication and did a thorough follow up when we called, giving us options and recommendations for how to move forward.

The entire checkup was still less expensive than expected and multiple offers and options for pet insurance were mentioned and explained

Worst ever experience. Staffs working here are very rude and condescending. Charged us $150 for vaccinations but refused to provide any vaccination proofs. Our dog was shaking when coming home, he did not like the place at all. He was acting very weird in a way that we have never encountered before.don’t come here if you love your dog

I had the most amazing experience here! I’ve been to a good number of vets, but this was by far the BEST place I’ve ever been to. Dr. Hemstreet and Johnny are seriously the best of the best!! They took such great care of my dog and made sure she was comfortable the entire appointment.

I love how thorough, gentle, and attentive they were. Really appreciated how Dr. Hemstreet explained the different treatment options and prioritized non-invasive techniques first. I feel like they’re a very honest practice and do not try to recommend any unnecessary procedures. They were also so efficient and able to get everything done in one visit.

On top of all of this, their prices are extremely reasonable! I wish I could stay in Boston forever just to keep bringing my dog here. Highly recommend!
