Visited this salon when I was natural. First of all, they served me a mimosa! Right then I knew this was a wonderful place. I had my hair washed and treated - they did a great job. The atmosphere is nice - not a lot of the usual salon gossip. And I didn't have to wait forever!

Anique is warm, friendly and perhaps most importantly, knowledgeable about natural hair. I had my hair washed, steamed and twisted. My goal is long, healthy hair and I was counseled throughout my appointment on how to reach my goal, which I appreciate. After she finished, I wore the style almost a month and when I took it down, my hair was still soft and manageable!!!

Since I became natural I was on a search for a salon that catered to natural hair ,and I came across this one. Making an appointment with the Owner Anique was one of the best decisions I have ever made for my hair. She is very informative and well educated on natural hair. Ive noticed a huge difference in the health of my hair and because of that I don't regret the very first day I walked in.Since I have been going to her I refrain from entering any other hair salons. I mean what's the point lol Anique Nicole Hair Studio has everything my hair needs!!.You won't regret it‼

The fact that the number listed for the business goes UNANSWERED speaks volumes and is BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm happy I did not spend money here. I called twice and text once but received ZERO responses. I tried to book an appointment for myself and my sister. Perhaps have a BUSINESS phone that is not a cell. (Some)Black folks.... I see why some black businesses fail.

I gave this salon a 2nd chance. Big mistake. The first time I came, it took forever even though I made an appointment. I'm not sure why they accept appointments and have late fees if they don't even honor appointments. They charge $25 if you're late or a no show. I tried again today. My appointment for this evening was for 4:15 just to get my hair washed, a steam, and blow dry. Very basic but took more than THREE hours. My stylist Anique was not even apologetic about it taking so long. No sense of urgency at all. Come if you have nowhere to be but there has to be another natural hair stylist in Boston that will value your time. I said something at the end and there was still no apology. Never again.
