Absolutely one of the best barbershops I’ve been to! The place is spotless, clean, and has a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The barbers are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. They really take their time to make sure everything is perfect, and the quality of the haircut speaks for itself.

After reading quite a number of reviews left by people, I will now leave my review. 11/5/25 9:30 AM After getting off the ferry and walking up State Street looking for a new place to get a haircut I see a sign in front of 53 State Street saying walk-ins welcome State Street barbershop. He took me right away. Hicham was very nice. I found the shop to be clean and organized. I liked the way he had his scissors and other tools of the trade laid out. They were nicely organized and looked clean. He asked me what kind of haircut I wanted and he proceeded to cut my hair and I got a great cut. Very happy. At $35 it’s very reasonable. Barber, Hicham, was friendly and really listened to what I wanted. The haircut was clean and professional, and the shop had a welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and skilled barber.
