My family has been with Sheila/Hickey funeral home for decades. She does a wonderful job. A very warm and caring person. When my mother died over 14 years ago, Sheila had merged with Brown and Sons by then. They all did an incredible job with everything. I still have the original deed to my grandfather's plot. Unfortunately, I do not have the deed to my stepfather's plot which started with my step-great grandfather. My stepbrother is his only living relative left, at least on his branch. However, until I became disabled, I went to their grave as well as my own family's grave which was not far from my grandfather's grave. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Brown & Hickey Funeral Home. When my father passed away recently I had no idea what to expect, but the professionalism and compassion that Liam and the rest of the staff showed us made a difficult time just a little bit easier.
The first time I met Liam in person was when he came to our home to remove my father’s remains. I didn’t know what to expect but he and his staff treated my father with such dignity. It made me feel better knowing that he was with people who clearly cared about what they were doing.

My heartfelt thanks to the entire Brown and Hickey Funeral Home team, but especially to Liam Hickey-Sullivan, for making my father’s recent funeral services so very special. From my very first phone call on the day Dad died, to his wake, funeral mass, and burial preparations, Liam guided the family through the big decisions and the finer details with such expertise; and always with the utmost kindness and empathy. He handled all the arrangements flawlessly, and even added so many extra special touches.
