“I am a notorious haircut hater; I've left countless salons in the last 7 years either frustrated enough to give myself a hackjob touch-up at home (badly) or just flatout crying, defeated. I went to Jeffrey Robert Salon on a whim, desperate for a haircut after over half a year spent growing out a botched bleach job from last summer. I was so anxious at the prospect of letting someone else cut my hair again - but, wow. I made the right choice going here, Shayla was just amazing. She took the reference I showed her very seriously and periodically asked me what I thought about how it was going, if I liked it, if the layers looked good. I was grinning the whole time, like yes, it's perfect, oh my God. She listened when I told her to cut certain parts a bit shorter; she made sure it framed my face, because I told her I was worried about that. She gave me recommendations for products to use and taught me the best ways to style it moving forward. I left glowing. This is the best haircut I've gotten professionally in ... ever, I think. I haven't been able to stop smiling - and crying, just a little, but this time out of joy.“
