My very favorite barber (and shop) of all time…and I’m 80! Mindy has been in business a long time and just moved to a bigger place around the corner from her old shop…more room to wait inside and listen to the locals lively chatting with Mindy. Her place is very welcoming with her interesting collections scattered throughout and her giant dog awaiting attention. And…she’s a natural born barber who always gives me a great haircut…confirmed by my wife every time. Her prices are competitive, and there’s a senior discount! I look forward to my visits and don’t mind the wait if I do a walk-in instead of by appointment. Best of all - she’s a blast to be with.

Mindy is the #1 best. The barber shop is a small and unassuming storefront in north Amherst, it’s worth the visit. Mindy’s barber shops always has fun music, good people, and is a generally fun experience. Mindy herself is funny, good to talk to, and great at cutting hair (quickly and affordably).Services: Curly hair

Mindy's is the greatest place to go to get a haircut or to wait while a friend or relative gets a haircut. The shop is amazing and so is Mindy. She does my tenant's hair, and he always looks great!
