1318 Beacon St #10, Brookline“I absolutely love Turning Leaf Acupuncture and the incredible care I’ve received there. Both Chi and Sharon are amazing practitioners, but I’ve spent most of my time with Chi—and I can’t recommend her enough.
Chi is not only deeply knowledgeable but also incredibly comforting to work with. She supported me through my fertility treatments with expert acupuncture and went above and beyond by educating me along the way. She suggested helpful books, explained supplement options, and encouraged me to have informed conversations with my fertility doctor.
What really stands out is how Chi feels like a true member of my healthcare team. She offers thoughtful, holistic advice and helped me navigate a really emotional and uncertain time with confidence and calm.
I became pregnant naturally between my egg retrieval and scheduled transfer cycle—and I truly believe Chi’s work played a major role in that outcome.
I highly recommend Chi to anyone going through fertility treatments or just looking for compassionate, high-quality acupuncture care. She’s truly amazing!“

1208B VFW Pkwy #201, West Roxbury“This is my third medical issue I've taken to Sun Wellness and my third success! I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both hands. Severe pain, tingling, numbness. Couldn't hold a pen, brush my teeth, or do any normal daily activities. I'm still going for treatments, but my very first treatment resulted in significant pain reduction and more flexibility in my hands/fingers. I couldn't be more grateful!! Deborah Stebenne“

PLUS: Great staff! Got a chance to meet the owners recently, and view the current facilities as well as their new expansion and remodel. It's going to be even better when they finish, top notch care right in Boston. 5 Stars“

939 Main St, Wakefield“I had 9/10 cervical neck pain that led to severe scapular and trapezius tightness and pain. I was miserable. I went to Pleasant Wellness for acupuncture, and Julia started with a pointed and impactful physical assessment. She prepared me for treatment by palpating the areas, scanning for visual imbalances, and cupping my chest and my back. She identified upper body/back weakness, muscular imbalances from carrying my 45lb child on the same side all the time, and misalignment in my cervical spine. She was able to realign it by releasing the fascia and associated tension. **I left the clinic feeling euphoric from the lack of pain!** Julia is the utmost professional, and she has impeccable intuition and knowledge of the interrelated body systems. She educated me on the root of my issue so I can rehabilitate; and I see acupuncture as a crucial component of my care. I recommend Pleasant Wellness to anyone close by and will not look elsewhere for acupuncture.
Side note, I also went to Pleasant Wellness when I was pregnant and 8 days past my due date. I had my son the next day :)“

After working with three other physical therapy providers, I immediately noticed how different her approach and expertise are - Nicole stands out by far. From our very first session, she understood my complex situation and provided precise, effective exercises that brought real relief right away. Beyond her clinical skill, Nicole creates a calm, supportive atmosphere that makes each appointment something I genuinely look forward to. I’m incredibly grateful for the care, professionalism, and progress I’ve experienced with her.“

394 Lowell St STE 10, Lexington“I had such a wonderful experience with Tamie after some really unique setbacks during postpartum. After three acupuncture treatments and a holistic wellness consultation with the right supplements, Tamie was able to solve my issues. I tried so many doctors and “specialists” and Tamie was the only practitioner that listened to my needs and really customized a treatment for my root cause. I am forever thankful that I found her and am excited to continue working with her for years to come! I cannot recommend Tamie at Japanese Acupuncture Clinic in Lexington, MA enough ❤️“

Emily (my savior) was the absolute best PT I've ever had and I've had quite a few. She was able to get me back to a point which has enabled me to return to the gym and start getting healthy again. The entire staff was friendly and professional from the time you enter until the time you leave. Thanks to all and I'm looking forward to my next injury just so I can go back.?♂️“

You know how you always look for the perfect pillow, today this was my perfect pillow. Normally, my go to is a deep tissue or sport massage but I met with Bella a Thai masseuse. The hot towels added a new dimension, it was truly relaxing and therapeutic. I had more mobility in my shoulders and the neck tension was eased as well. All the staff were friendly. The facility has easy access and plenty of parking on the side streets. Marc“

45 School Street Ground Floor, Boston“The absolute BEST treatment center I have ever been to. Excellent physical therapy and life-changing sports massages. I wish I had found out about this place years ago. I saw Dr. Kayla Serowik and Dr. Christine Frechette for physical therapy, and both of them were amazing. Not only did they show me the exercise to treat my issues, they also helped educate me on what I could do to prevent future injuries. On top of that, they were both incredibly patient and encouraging - therapeutic on multiple levels! I also get sports massages from Michelle Herrmann, and this has been a game changer. I have gone to a wide variety of skilled massage therapists (sports, deep tissue, Thai, etc.), and Michelle is the best, by far. Her massages are so healing and have helped my performance so much, as well as stave off potential injuries! Before going to Wellness in Motion, I really struggled to progress in any sport because I got injured so often. Now, with the amazing combination of physical therapy and sports massages, my body is healthier and stronger than it has been in over 20 years! Incredibly grateful for this place. Several of my friends have gone here as well, all with similar experiences. Most of them have gone to see Lauren Lozier, who is also amazing!“

1620 Beacon St, Brookline“Today, I had my first professional bike fit with Dr. Brendan Connor at Wellness in Motion. I’m a 40-year-old beginner cyclist with limited hip flexibility and a sedentary office job, so I wanted to make sure my setup supported both comfort and long-term progress. Dr. Connor began by testing my flexibility and muscle function, both generally and in relation to cycling. He took time to explain what he was doing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Once we moved to the bike, we made a series of adjustments—saddle height, fore-aft position, tilt, foot placement, stance width, handlebar angle, shifter height, and shifter reach depth. He even removed and rewrapped my bar tape to get everything just right. By the end of the session, my pedaling felt smoother, my hips moved more freely, and my hands carried noticeably less weight. Dr. Connor noted that some remaining pressure might be due to core strength, which made sense given my fitness level. He plans to send me a short exercise routine to help address that. Overall, I left the session feeling much more comfortable and confident on the bike. The fitting was professional, educational, and well worth it.“

In my experience, both Sarah & Zach are great with specific things like concussion, energy balance and moods. They tend to use tiny needles. They have lovely, calm energy. And Saffy, whose hours coincide with Zach's, is another, different 'value added.' :)“

1683 Beacon St #1, Brookline“George got me back to ultramarathon training! He helped me with a stubborn hamstring issue that wasn't responding to other treatments like PT or massage. I was feeling lost with this nagging pain for months, and after a few visits I felt like me again. Now I'm training for my third 100 mile race.
Also, last year I went to George to help heal my ankle after I tore a ligament. He helped me get my mobility back and he was honest with me when I needed a break from treatments to let things settle down (because I was also dealing with an inflammatory illness at the time). I've learned a lot from him and I have complete faith in his practice. I'm so lucky to have East/West Sports Acupuncture in my corner so I can stay strong and run all the miles!“

The three I have worked with at JV Wayland Mass. are all expert and clinically savvy but the latest, Brian Davis, is at the very top: practical, imaginative, resourceful, realistic, just full of ideas and even minor change suggestions. Really smart and clinically informed and grounded.“
