Make sure you don't ask any follow-up questions during a wellness visit with kids or they will bill you and your insurance company for a SECOND APPOINTMENT and charge you a co-pay for annual physical/well visit. I really wanted to support a small health care system but I've never experienced such dirty billing tricks like I have at Acton Medical.

The patient centered care that I had went I started going here 15 years ago has declined significantly. Despite going to the practice for various ailments many times in the last several years, I was always only seen by PAs and haven't seen my PCP in years. Many of the reception staff and support staff act as if the patients are a burden. If you are looking for a new practice to go to, do yourself a favor and keep looking. I finally had enough and have moved on and I'm very happy with my new provider.

Waited six months for an appointment. Arrived early and was told we were at the wrong location. No problem. I can drive to correct location and still be on time. They said no. Must reschedule. “Doctor decision” which I guess is a policy because they certainly didn’t speak to anyone. We drove to correct office anyway and were 8 minutes late. They refused to see us. Said we had to reschedule. Are you kidding? We would have still been waiting in the lobby if we had gone to the correct office initially. You’re telling me we would have had the first doctor’s appointment in history that began the exact minute it was scheduled? Who are they trying to make an example... read full review
