Had called a competitor, at 1st, for an outside water pipe leak! Their response time would be between 8-5, w $87 start fee. Wow! At my age, never heard of such things! The price of doing business, I guess. I then called Roto Rooter, who I remembered, we had used eons ago! I called, before 9:30 AM, their response time would be between 10:30 & Noon! Acceptable time frame. No start up fee. Hmm? Ok! Welp, a Roto Rooter truck was here, & ready to go, before 10:30! Wow, within an hour response! Now, I remembered why we used them before! Today is Friday July 3, 2026 and I was replacing 2 old shut valves below my kitchen sink and I have a little experience replacing them, but I ran into a problem where they were really close to the floor and wall and when it took me a couple hours and should have taken about 20 minutes. When I turned the water back on they both leaked. I felt orverwhelmed and rotorooter was the only plumber that was o pl en and didn't want to bee without water the entire weekend. The lady that answered was very nice and told me the technician should call me in about 30 mins because hexws already on another call. Very positive. Gavin was knowledgeable and helpful. He cared about solving our problem without price-gouging. Provided is with option. Taco was less of involved but very supportive and friendly.
