“Hands down one of the best Taekwondo places in this area! As someone who used to go here and made it to 3rd degree black belt, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for learning not just taekwondo but self-control, discipline, and self defense, teamwork. Great for kids who go to school and have to deal with bullying. And great for adults who are looking to protect themselves. They are very supportive and kind with a family friendly environment. They also have a very competitive style if you are interested in that. Trust me when I say this is the one of the best martial arts places you can go to in Louisiana!! 10/10 and I hope I will be back soon!!“

“As a sacrificial white belt it can be very intimidating training at a new gym. This was far from the case at SMAA. Brigette was extremely helpful and welcoming. Professor Wayne has a style of coaching that breaks down movements even my smooth brain is able to retain and even implement during live training. I was able to roll with higher belts. At other gyms higher belts would break your soul and question what you are even doing there but here they pushed just hard enough to realize the skill difference but also learn through mistakes. Highly recommend training here.“
