Went to Ulta because they carry a product I wanted to try that Sephora doesn’t carry, and I had a lovely time. No shade to Sephora, but I’d forgotten how wonderful Ulta is. The staff was welcoming and helpful without being overwhelming, the store was clean and stocked, and spacious. Associate named Devon helped me with a few eyeshadow primer options; thank you Devon! It was a weekday and seemed like a great time to get color matched and staff recommendations. I will definitely be back!
Alessandra was awesome! She offered help which I initially declined, but after looking around a little bit she offered again and was super helpful directing me toward the best eye makeup and in picking out the most vibrant colors for Mardi Gras. She even checked their stock for me since I’m cutting it close to Mardi Gras, and many of those colors have sold off the shelves.
