My BFF and I wanted to get matching tattoos on our trip to NOLA. I found Tough Love after researching the local tattoo shops. I sent them an email and they got back to me within 5 min confirmed our appt. Our appt was originally with Chloe but between when we booked and our appt she had left the shop so they gave us Chelsie and we were so happy with the change! She was do friendly, talked to us the whole time gave us suggestions for places to eat and drink. Highly recommend her, if I had more time here I'd get one her originals they are amazing.
Shops is very clean, everyone is so nice and welcoming.

This shop was phenomenal!!! We booked in advance as a group of 4 from out of town. All of the artists were friendly and ready to go when we arrived. Chelsie was my artist and she was outstanding! She made great artistic recommendations to my tattoo that took something simple to the next level. She has a light hand so sitting was a breeze! Street parking is available.

After searching several shops in the area for a realistic black and gray artist, I found Chelsie at Tough Love. I brought her in a photo I’d taken locally for inspiration and then told her to make it hers. I was extremely lucky because artists of this skill level rarely have availability for walk-ins. Not only did she deliver what she promised, she exceeded my expectations. I sat in the shop for 7 hours chatting with Chelsie and Jason and they are so down to earth and good people. I came in the shop as a prospective client and left with some killer work and some new friends.

My wife and I went in and got similar designs (different size and locations) and we got absolutely amazing friendly and welcoming service. It was my wife’s first tattoo and she was very nervous. Her artist was Lil Nicky and he went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and informed on what to expect. He did an amazing job and the lines came out extremely clean.
My artist was Jason and again, he was super inviting and friendly. He did my work on the underside of my left bicep and I was expecting to have extensive bruising in the first 24 hours based on how my body reacted to the same spot on my right arm. I had no bruising and far less ink leakage than others. He was very detailed, precise and gentle.
Also, the shop is very well decorated and has a very clean, safe and welcoming vibe. I highly recommend this shop as it’s by far the best experience I’ve had with any of my tattoos.
I’ll be back for sure.

I visited this place today for my first time in New Orleans! I like to collect souvenir tattoos and was feeling adventurous so I got 2 $100 Get What You Get tattoos. The owner, Jason, did my tattoos! He did a phenomenal job! I really enjoyed my time here. The shop was very clean and everyone was so friendly and chill. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their next tattoo
