I went in with absolutely no knowledge of what I wanted or what would look best, left an hour later after a lovely convo with Grant and a great new look! The place smells amazing, Grant was amazing, and he not only knows what works but he obviously loves what he does--and that goes such a long way. I'll be back, every two weeks...probably forever.

I had been getting my hair cut at the same shop for 6 years prior to coming to the rooster club. Patrick gave me one of the best haircuts of my life. Patrick at the rooster club is now my go-to guy. 10/10

I don't know why Patrick I was asked for a reference if it was not going to be cut or permed at all like the reference which I showed multiple times I also mentioned multiple times I didn't want curls I just wanted some waviness or texture to my hair, I thought it would grow on me after a couple days but definitely didn't not close at all to what I wanted the first picture is what I used as reference terrible way to start the year off in total I payed 130 for perm and haircut. Now l have to look into straightening options that's going to cost a pretty penny as well, I feel completely ripped off. I also washed it within 24 hours so I can only imagine how much curlier it would have been if I hadn't.( UPDATE: I also tried calling for a refund which Michael said I wouldn't get because it is my fault that my hair came out this curly and he mentioned frizzy which I didn't think it was, because I washed my hair and if I hadn't washed it it would have came out the way it looks in the picture ( Meaning wayy less curly ) which I find extremely hard to believe as I did research online in multiple sources and went to other salons in New Orleans which are higher reviewed and more established than this one such as Maison De Cheveux, they all seem to agree with me saying that if I did not like the perm it was a good idea to wash it as soon as possible to make it less curly and wavy, but Michael said that that was not the case so either the entire internet and every other salon in New Orleans which are higher rated then this one are wrong or Michael was just looking for anyway to not take accountability and refund my money, the only thing he offered was to give me another re-perm for 30% off which no way am I risking them further damaging and messing up my hair while scamming me out of more money. When I called him he also mentioned that I said nothing about the cut itself so here it is Patrick also chopped off a lot of my hair which I thought was quite obvious by the reference photo and my after photo but I guess not. P.s. Patrick also mentioned that I could wash out my hair to make it less curly which Michael kept denying.) Save your money and the headache and avoid this place!

80 minute cut and shave was a 40 minute barber shop experience. Nice person who was capable; but, I am two weeks out and need a corrective cut and the shave was a total waste of time and money.

Always enjoy coming to The Rooster Club in Uptown. Great haircut by Dani. Relaxing space with cool vibe. Dani was professional, thorough, understood what I wanted in a cut, and results were fantastic. Look forward to coming back.
