In April of this year we got a fortified roof installed from Shifflett Roofing in Slidell. We had five companies bid the project. From the moment we met Beau Adams, we wanted Shifflett to do our roof. Hoping their price would be competitive, and it was. Beau may be young but he does not lack knowledge on his product or his company. The project went well and they did an excellent job. With all the rain in May and June and a tornado coming through Eden Isles this past Friday. The roof performed beautifully. We lost some siding and have a call into Beau for that. I highly recommend Shifflett Roofing.
We have a slate roof, and it's really a pain when it needs work. We've had a number of different roofers work on it over the years...everyone says they can work on slate, but that's rarely true. Seeing a couple slipped tiles before storm season, realized it was time again. A neighbor recommended Shifflett, they sent someone out quickly to make an estimate, and after we accepted they sent a team right away.
Twenty five tiles in all replaced, the obviously slipped ones, but also some cracked tiles and even fixed dodgy work done by previous companies (someone in the past even used silicone to fix, ugh), without additional cost.

I was in the process of selling my home, and my home inspection indicated that I had a couple of issues, I was notified on Sunday afternoon the day before Memorial Day and I call shifflett roofing who transferred me to Vincent, he was the best, was very professional and new his trade very well and gave me peace of mind of dealing with these issues on my roof and I had to get the issues handled within 72 hrs.
