My kid loves birthday parties. I like birthday parties that are easy to book. The shop and hair salon were already favorites for friends and family, so using their event space to accommodate my crafty kid’s party was a natural move. And the team members at She Comes in Peace knocked it out of the park. The kids loved it and went home with amazing headpieces. They could not have been happier, and therefore the parents were happy as well. It was a magnificent time, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

I have put off writing this review because it means a lot to me to get it right. I’ve known the owner, Dara, for almost twenty years, which means I have had a front row seat to the full arc of what she has built. I first spotted her as a young stylist at another salon, where I was nursing a color disaster courtesy of my regular hairdresser. We made furtive but meaningful eye contact across the salon floor in what I can only describe as a hair emergency bat signal. She was too professional to step on her colleague’s toes in the moment, but I tracked her to her next salon and never really let her go.
I came all of the way from Lexington,KY to see Peetza. As a hairstylist myself I’ve admired their work for years ( don’t even remember how we became fb friends). I needed a change and they delivered the perfect one in a big way. Not only is Peetza one of the kindest most down to earth humans- they are also one of the most talented stylists I’ve met in my 14 years behind the chair. Now I have a reason to pop back down to New Orleans more often when I need a clean up. They are the BEST!!!
