I am writing to report dangerous and reckless driving by one of your employees earlier today.
On May 31, 2026, at approximately 3:15 PM, I witnessed one of your company trucks driving very aggressively at speeds in excess of 100 mph for extended periods of time. This occurred in very heavy traffic on eastbound I-12, starting at Exit 68. The dangerous behavior continued for five miles until the driver finally exited south at Exit 74, and I expect it continued well past that point as I proceeded east.
I know the duration and speed of this encounter because I was actively trying to catch up with the truck to get a company phone number. My vehicle's speed control stops at 100mph, and I wasn't gaining on your vehicle. Luckily, traffic briefly held the driver up at one point, which allowed me to close the distance and write down the website address printed on the tailgate next to the handle.
This driver was endangering not only his own life but everyone around him. I expect a company that utilizes branded vehicles to hold its drivers to a much higher standard of safety, and I hope this matter is addressed immediately.
If I had been in my own jurisdicition on duty this driver would have definitely had his day interrupted with a little trip to the station and an impounded vehicle.

Fortified Roof installation under the Louisiana Fortify Homes program (Department of Insurance). Multiple contractors bid on this job; What set Schwander-Hutchinson apart was including details of material quality along with a very competitive quote. Another contractor reserved the better materials as bargaining points to win the contract at a higher cost. Schwander-Hutchinson had the best materials at the best price from shingles to flashing to vents.
The workers arrived quickly and seemed very well organized and highly experienced. The foreman was available at all times to answer questions. Debris and packaging was never left on the project so the impact yard plants, trees, pets was minimal.
As for the Fortified Grant process and documentation, Schwander-Hutchinson took care of all details allowing for a very painless inspection.
Roof looks amazing.

Made the mistake of giving them my total payment check (for installing new roof) before they came back to fix a minor issue that the owner said would be no problem to do. No one came the next day to fix it. I followed up a few times only to have the owner basically laugh in my face (over phone/email). They never fixed this minor cosmetic issue. Three years later, one year after their "workmanship" warranty had passed, a wet stain appeared in the ceiling under the roof they installed. Now I'm involved in the Louisiana Fortified Roof program and didn't think for a single second of giving them another iota of my business since they didn't GAF about my satisfaction after handing them several thousand dollars.

Great experience with this company! I had them fix a problem I had with another roofer and they did a great job! The workers were courteous and cleaned up well (much better than the previous roofer) and they fixed the leaking issues caused by the shotty work performed by the previous roofer. I was very happy with the experience I had with this company!
