I have had good experiences here before, but Shelly brought the average star rating down. She outright did not listed to me when I said I wanted a trim. I told her my wedding was in a few weeks and that I wanted long hair for it and would cut more off after the wedding. She just did not accept this and told me that I would thank her later for the haircut. The haircut isn't bad but is much much shorter than I want it to be for my wedding. I wish she would just have listed to me. Just because certain hair cuts are more in style doesn't mean that my request shouldn't be taken seriously...

Do you like to be yelled at? Then you talk to Nicole at John Jay. She told me to arrive early because of the “ storm “ ( light rain). She had to pick up her kids. Was I going to make Beverly ( stylist) drive home alone in the rain?Arrived early. Beverly wanted to know why I was an hour early— “ sit down and wait.”They refused to take back a product I hadn’t even opened even though Kristin said I could return it. Nicole yelled at me again.Hey, Beverly gave me decent haircut but is anywhere in the world worth this treatment?

Joni made me feel like a new person!!! What a wonderful salon in my neighborhood! Great precautions being taken(checking temp at entrance, staff and visitors in masks) definitely coming back!
