This is your old time barbershop, it is a great place hang out talk little smack get a great haircut. Hulon is a great guy and he really cares about what he's doing. You get the straight edge razor in the back your neck with a hot towel and really relaxing experience. This is the old time haircut. Tell all the old stories kind of place you got to be patient though because he puts that much detail into each haircut. Probably waited about an hour for two people to get a haircut. He took probably 30 to 40 minutes per haircut, Depending on the stories, and the people in the barbershop, it is sure to be entertaining if you appreciate the good conversation. Conversation can get spicy so don't surprised if you here some politics, sports, duck hunting and points of view that are bold. If you want bland conversation this isn't you type of place. It is cash only. Call ahead to see how many people are waiting. Thanks for a great time and haircut It is better if you are LSU tigers fan, I just lean into it.
I haven't been in there but the man came outside to hold the door for me to get in to the business next door. As I'm rolling around on a scooter, I really appreciate the kindness. Thank you.
Hulon is a great guy with lots of stories to tell and great conversation! He really takes his time cutting your hair and gives the best haircuts I have ever had. I would/will/do recommend him to anyone, male or female!! Give him a try. I promise you will be delighted with not only your haircut but the service as well. I just wanted to add that I'm proud to call him my friend although he's just my barber. I'd like to think of him and his wife (even though she and I have never met I feel like I know her already because he loves her and talks about her so much!) What a darling couple they must be!
