Amazing hair spot have never had a service that was bad.. i have very fine hair and they always make it fun, full and seem to know what i am asking for very intuitively.

Was in town for a wedding. Made an appointment online for a shampoo and blow dry for myself and my daughter in law. We were assigned to Patty. The service was listed on the menu for $45-50. My hair was washed, dried and curled ( not well and very unevenly left to right and in the back top layers more curled than the bottom. I had to correct it myself at the hotel). My service took one hour as expected. My daughter in law was shampooed and blown dry in a mere 30 minutes. When I went to pay I was told it was $80 each!!! I work at an exclusive salon in Austin and our top tear stylists don’t charge more than $65 for this service. Our general price is $55 so I figured their pricing was in line with the industry so you can imagine my absolute shock at the $80 per person charge! I was treating my DIL so I didn’t want to make a scene but man it really sucks to be ripped off. I left feeling so cheated and so angry. If you’re going way over standard pricing or way over your listed online price range for the service make sure you are up front with your client regarding higher pricing (and the reason for it ) before you begin. The client should never have to find out at the front desk after the service has been completed.

I’ve been getting my hair done by Rachael for years and she has always done an amazing job. I get compliments on the regular. I went to a different salon before her and the color bled onto everything, the pillow, my shirts, my boyfriend, for weeks. No joke. But Rachael’s hair dye stayed on my head and looked fabulous. Even when my purple faded, I still get compliments for my “blue” hair. Don’t look any further Rachael is your hairdresser from here on out. You will not be disappointed. Plus she’s a delight of a human. Bonus points!

My hair has never looked better! Gabby gave me an amazing mermaid inspired hair color after a quick discussion. She shared useful tips on hair care and answered all my questions about products, do's & don'ts. Rachel and Nico were also super helpful and so nice, ensuring I was comfortable and helping me to check out. Truly a great place, especially for fashion colors!

Tisha at Fifis Bywater was phenomenal! I had my hair (updo) and makeup (with lashes) done for a Halloween ball. For someone like me who never does their makeup or hair, this is usually an anxiety inducing experience. Tisha listened to exactly what I wanted... and did that with a little extra flare. It was PERFECT. I felt beautiful, but still like myself and both the makeup and hair lasted all night. I can't rave enough about my experience.
