Family Barber Shop consistently gives a great hair cut. Today's visit was no exception . I rely on their team to style my hair in a very specific manner for work and I'm always impressed. Their quality is top notch, the price is great...especially for veterans. Family Barber Shop is a neighborhood staple with a hint of nostalgia. Ample metered parking, a few coffee shops, and plenty eateries to visit on Oak Street before or after the experience.

Poor Service and standards. Although I was behind they still could have seen me. They have a strict policy, which they refused to see me despite only being 10 min late. They could have seen me, the whole place was empty when I walked in. This is predatory practice where they only want your money and they are only concerned with their own scheduling and charge people for nothing. Just another product of the times. Higher prices lower quality. Very rude, and I will not be back again. Dont be late or they will charge you.

I appreciate the old-fashioned charm of a traditional New Orleans barbershop rather than a modern salon. I find the friendly staff, reasonable prices, and convenient Uptown Carrollton location very appealing.

I have been a customer of Alan's for years. He has done a fantastic job bringing the old school barber shop into the present by automating appointment scheduling online! The place is chill and friendly. The prices are fair and I would highly recommend them!

Just a cool spot. Cassie is very friendly, & very good at her job. Plus, there's a cool bar next door if ya wanna have a drink before or after ur appointment.
