I've never gone to yoga classes where they teach alignment so well. Turns out I was doing a lot of yoga poses incorrectly, which could have led to injuries. The instructors here walk around the room and adjust you, AND they teach you how to align correctly, to begin with. I still use what I've learned at Balance even when I'm doing yoga at home.
The absolute best place to practice yoga in New Orleans. The atmosphere makes you feel like you have traveled somewhere in South Asia with the large bamboo swaying in the wind. “A Stay Yoga Retreat Vacation”
This is my favorite yoga studio in the country. I live in Rhode Island and travel all over. I think of this place often. When I visit Nola, I purposely find a spot near this studio so I can go every day. Love the instructors, love the vibe, love the space, love the schedule, love the natural humid heat. So much to love about this place. Can’t wait to go back!
