Our entire system was backing up and it’s VERY old. Hans had to use a camera and “locator” device to find the septic tank - it was buried close to 3 feet deep! Finally found it and diagnosed the problems. Hans was extremely knowledgeable and affordable. I highly recommend Basic Plumbing for anyone needing a plumber in the greater Hammond area. 10 out of 10 review from me. Jim Burkett
Our toilet broke we tried to fix it but failed so I contacted quite a few plumbers and was shocked the initial fee would be so crazy high one was over $300 and idk about everyone else’s finances but I know ours can not afford that initial cost so I kept calling around and called Basic Plumbing Service and let me just say was a ray of sunshine he was very nice and knowledgeable he didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need he was very respectful and polite and came same day at the time he said he would be here and fixed our toilet we had the parts but he ended up having to come up with different bolts and when he was done he told me the price again that had not changed from original quote and I said are you sure because of the bolts he said yes ma’am I am so I gave him $10 over the price and he said thank you I said no thank you because the other companies I called were so much higher it was insane you were so upfront and honest and that is a breath of fresh air now days. So I would like to give basic plumbing a 10/10 and would highly recommend anyone that needs anything in the plumbing dept. please call him I promise you will NOT regret it for sure thanks Hans we are very happy with the job you did and will be calling you in the future for all our plumbing needs.
