“Cannot say enough good things about the staff here. My 110 lb Pyrenees mix normally has to be medicated and muzzled for vet visits because of his fear of men/vet visits. We saw Dr. Loftin today & when he entered the room, he sat down on the floor next to Huck, pet him & talked to him & took the time to let Huck get comfortable before starting the exam. I usually dread vet visits but this was such a peaceful experience.“

“We took our poodle of 18 years in to see Dr Bobby Walsh. I have NEVER been to a veterinarian with more love and patience with our poodle and we as the owners of Maggie. He was very thoughtful of my husband’s pain in making a decision to put her asleep. He explained the options and my husband decided on the treatment plan and we took her home in critical condition. Dr Bobby was so amazing and spent over 1.5 hours explaining and helping us to understand Maggie was at the end of life. We followed his instructions given on Monday and early Thursday morning, 1/25/24 Maggie crossed over the rainbow ?? into Doggy Heaven. She was wrapped in my husband’s shirt he had just taken off and looked very peaceful at 6:00 a.m. this morning. She gave my husband so many years of unconditional love and companionship. I suggest Dr Walsh for your pet needs. He is so patient, kind and considerate of the pain involved with the parting of a pet. Thank you, we planned to bring her in today to put her down as my husband realized she was in pain. “1st off, this place gets confused often for Sherwood South Animal Hospital (24 hour Emergency Vet off Sherwood Forest Blvd). This is NOT the same place.

I have been going to Dr. Mitchell (the only vet) for years with all 5 of my fur babies. I have loved her calmness, thoroughness, fairness in price, and her genuine care for my pets.

The office is outdated and may not look desirable, but let me tell you, the care my dog, Ginger, in particular had received from Dr. Mitchell in by far the BEST I have ever experienced. Ginger was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, but eventually passed away with severe pancreatitis. Dr. Mitchell did everything and anything to save her, but her body could not handle.

If you want a vet that takes her time to explain everything going on with your furbaby to you, explains everything in medical terms and layman's terms. DO NOT WALK, but RUN to make an appointment.

“I mistook this for the one that does surgey. That mistake by me aside, the vet was incredibly nice. Explained everything that was going on and our options in great detail. At no point did we feel rushed or that we weren't being listened to. If we had started bringing our dogs here as puppies I would never change vets. If you go, say hi to Piper for us.“
