When you go to Jo - you get special treatment and feel like the only person that matters. She will listen, work with you and as always, makes you feel seen. Jo makes something out of not much I have to work with, something special. But honestly, why I am actually reviewing is for those that may have some social anxiety, or personal discomfort for whatever reason. When I leave Jo’s I am relaxed and feel safe and seen. I don’t dread going to get my haircut if I am going to Jo. The opposite.“

I have relaxed hair, and she's very mindful of how to best style my hair when it is freshly relaxed and how it will lay when my curls start coming back in. I appreciate her kindness, attention to detail, and professionalism. On top of that, she truly has such a lovely personality and instantly makes you feel like old friends as soon as you sit in her chair. I have never enjoyed a salon experience as much and can't recommend anyone higher in the city, especially if you have curly hair.“
