Unfortunately, my grandmother was hospitalized here a little while back after a fall and developed multiple pressure sores, since no one repositioned her. I understand things get busy, but it’s not okay to lie on documentation.
My first experience with Dr. Gregory Fartheree was in 2012. I had an accident on my job totally messing up my lumbar area. Surgery was the only answer. Being my first major surgery I was scared to death, but this neurosurgeon and his PA Sarah was amazing and his manner during an office visit is so wonderful he reassures you that he’s going to do the best he can. On April 22, 2026 I met a new surgeon as a new patient because I haven’t been to the center in a couple of years. I couldn’t wait for the next appointment for Fartheree, so I accepted the appointment with Dr. Venable . What a wonderful experience I had with him. Great doctor reassured... read full review
I'm so thankful for Dr. Oberlander and his staff. I had a 5 disc ACDF in 2023 and a 3 disc TLIF in 2025. From initial consulation, to surgery, to staying in The Spine Hospital my care was wonderful. Each member of the surgical team came into the preop and told me what their role would be in surgery. Once in my room, it was as though the nurses anticipated my needs.
One year post surgery, I am pain free and doing all the activities that I had previously been doing. Today I am play golf twice a week and surprisingly I'm playing better than ever.
I highly recommend Dr. Oberlander and The Spine Hospital of Louisiana.
