Of the many Baton Rouge area optometrists whose care I have received, Dr. Duong is outstanding. I saw Dr. Doing after getting glasses made at Costco using a prescription from another provider, that were evidently the wrong prescription as I could not see clearly with them. I walked in to their clinic and the front desk staffer quickly worked me in for an exam. They checked my new glasses and confirmed that they had been made as specified by the previous provider’s prescription. Dr. Duong’s exam yielded a much different prescription. Dr. Kevin Duong has been my eye doctor for over 5 years now. They have brand new equipment and are up to date on the technology for the eye exams. The staff is great and the Dr. is very easy to talk to and takes time to really explain the exam and any questions I have ! i have no complaints and always have a great experience.

Box available to donate old glasses1 year ago: Non-routine FEE is now REQUIRED due to CovidI have never had any issues with Dr. Duong; however, my annual exam (post-covid) was less than routine. I was not prepared to pay an additional $35 fee that was not disclosed AND provided as an OPTIONAL test; it was “REQUIRED” now because the routine testing machine was not available due to safety/covid. When I questioned the receptionist, she informed me it was not covered by insurance. Also confirmed with me that it was previously optional, but due to safety and the test is required for routine screening.
